December 17 we woke up to a "blanket of snow" They closed the schools and even canceled the evening band concert. We got about 3" of snow overnight and to St. George (who has no way to scrap roads-even though to us who grew up in snow it is normal and snow plows usually don't worry about 3" anyway) it was a big deal. The kids built a snowman on our lawn, 4 snowmen and 2 "snow chairs" for one neighbor and 3 snowmen for another neighbor. It was lots of fun and we had a white week-before-Christmas.
The girls dance recital was December 21st The all did a great job and love performing. They also performed at the "Lins Market" holiday open house and the "Jubilee of Trees"
Zack drew a picture for the reflections contest at school. The theme was "wow" and he did a "hidden picture" There are 5 "wow"s inside the picture that he drew and colored. Very fun.
Brittany turned 10 in November. For her Birthday we gave her "riding lessons" A friend agreed to teach about and let her ride horses for a few hours. She absolutely loved it. Now one of her "new year's goals" is to ride horses again. She also got a "hair straitener" --which she loves so she doesn't have curly hair all the time.
It is a little late, but here are some pictures from halloween. Thanks Jenn for the "McQueen" help.
Zack and his 2 friends were the "3 Musketeers" Brittany was a "lady of the court" Courtney was "Barbie-fairytopia" Melanie was "Jasmine" Anthony was "McQueen" Davie was "Tigger" and Eric was "quarter back" (he has an enlarged copy of a quarter on his back and I was a "50's girls" The kids all had a great time.
